Make a Difference

 At the Sunday Reunion Brunch, Chic Guttormson (married to Fred) suggested that if each of us chose to spend one half day every other week in a volunteer service of our choice, the world would be a much better place.  I think this is a great idea.   Let's Do It!   Thanks, Chic!  

Dale Gustafson passed away September 14, 2012.  If you wish to 
contribute to the cost of his transfer from Costa Rica to Mpls, his children have established a fund through www.youcaring.com with the fundraiser name of Gustafson.

Thank you all for all the support, thoughts and prayers for our Dad/Dale.   

Due to the extreme expense for Dad's flight home his kids have organized a fundraiser via the web on youcaring.com to help pay for the medical flight home. To access his fundraiser go to the website and in the search box type Gustafson.

Unfortunately he remains in a coma, with no response.  But having him here has made a world of difference for our Mom and us.  To be able to stop by the hospital and spend time with him is such a gift, for our Mom to be able to speak to the doctors and nurses is a blessing.  Having him here, even though his recovery is not going as we hoped is a blessing. 

Again thank you for all your support from the prayers to the positive thoughts to all the phone calls and e-mails.
