James H. Williams, 68 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at his residence in Little Falls. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN.
Jim was a 1963 graduate of Hopkins High School. He served for a small period of time in the Air Force, where he was rated a mechanical genius. He owned a service/filling station in Minnetonka. He had a very soft spot in his heart for animals, and could never resist a stray dog or cat. He enjoyed the beauty and serenity of his parent's cabin in Pine River, Minnesota. Jim was a very soft spoken, kind hearted man and has left many good friends behind. Preceeded in death by his parents, Herbert R. and Irene C. Williams of Hopkins. Survived
by his sister Carol Haakinson (Edward) of Webster, WI., Neice Barbara Johnson (Aaron), 2 great nieces and 1 grand nephew, and special friends Nathan and Stacy Becker of Little Falls. His love of the outdoors and northwoods brought him to Little Falls where he spent the last 12 years of his life. While in Little Falls, he was employed by Larson Boats and Medi-Van.

Age 74, of Bloomington, passed away on August 17, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents & sister, Mary. He is survived by his wife, Hillary; daughters, Amy, Stacy (Gary) & Peggy (Mark); 10 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; brothers, Joe & Pat; brother-in-law, Don; nieces & nephews. Funeral Service Tuesday, August 22, 11 AM at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101 37th Ave S, Minneapolis. Visitation Monday August 21 from 5-7 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington, and for 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
