Peterson Frederick Thomas, age 61, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2005 in a Bismarck hospital. He was born in Bismarck, ND on Sept 25, 1943. He was the son of the late Fred H. & Luella M. Peterson. Tom was raised in Hopkins, MN and, after moving to Florida for a few years, he returned to Bismarck. His last years were spent at a place he loved, the family farm in Linton, ND. Tom had a passion for dogs and love for the outdoors. He fought a long and difficult battle with leukemia, and was brave, faithful and hopeful to the end. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Krohn & family of Oahu, Hawaii; his loving sister, Lynne M. Clay & her husband Walter S. Clay of Hutchinson, MN; his nephew, Eric S. Johnson & family of Manhattan Beach, CA; and his aunt, Helen Geck of Bismarck, ND. We are most grateful to his friend, Mike & family; his neighbor, Gordon; Dr. Addo, and the nurses & staff of St. Alexius Hospital, and to all his caregivers. The family requests that memorials be made to St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND. There will be a private interment with notice at a later date.
