Carol R. Medenwald (Reeves)

March 29, 1944 - December 10, 2019

Carol R. Medenwald, age 75 of Lake Crystal, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at her home.

Carol Reeves was born on March 29, 1944 to Gregory and Mary Jane (Lenox) Reeves in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from Hopkins High School. On June 22, 1963 she was united in marriage to Glen H. Medenwald. In 1969 Carol and Glen moved to Skyline to raise their family, and in 1996 they moved to rural Lake Crystal. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. For many years Carol was employed by District 77 as an aide, and also volunteered for Bend of the River Festival, and Salvation Army. Carol enjoyed card making and stamping, sewing, doll collecting, taking care of her home and Glen. She loved time spent with her family, especially her grand puppies Yogi and Tootsie.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Medenwald of Lake Crystal; sons, Michael (Vicky) Medenwald of Lake Crystal, Steven (Cindy) Medenwald of Mankato; grandchildren, Brian (Kim), Adam (Jill), Erica (Joe), Gina (Jie); sisters, Anne Reeves Austin of Minnetonka, Janet (Bob) Snook of Lake Forest, CA; sister-in-law, Linda Omeara of Mankato; by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Harry and Priscilla Medenwald; nephew, Scott Dollinger; niece, Jennifer Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Holley Reeves; brother-in-law, Hershel Austin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janice and Ed Dollinger.
