Donald M. 'Doc' Martin

Martin, Donald M. "Doc" Age 74. Born December 25, 1944 to Donald & Mildred Martin in Minneapolis MN. Passed away on December 7, 2019. A long-time resident of the Minnetonka area. Graduated from Hopkins High, class of 1962. Served in the Navy for three years after attending the University of Minnesota. A lover of family, friends, golfing, sports of any kind, & his daily crossword puzzles,

Don made his living as a stockbroker for a metro investment firm. After retiring, he drove a school bus for First Student & the Minnetonka school district. The kids on his bus were his pride & joy, and lovingly referred to him as "Grandpa Doc". Don passed away from an acute heart attack after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife, Pat; sons, Tim (Marie) of Jordan MN, Ben of Eden Prairie MN; step-daughter, Kerry Clough (Scott) of Myrtle Beach SC; sister, Mary Martin of LA CA; brothers, Bruce Martin of Mound MN & Paul (Rhonda) Martin of North Port FL; grandchildren, Kelsey, Jakob, Tyler, Hailey, Ava, Bradley, Evelyn; special longtime friend, Barry Reoh; extended family & friends.
