Bill was a smart,really nice guy I shared some classes with.  Occasionally, some of us would get up early and go out for pancakes before school in his vintage car.  It was a great ride, except that the hood flew up at random while he was driving.  We had such fun!  Dr. Holcher took us through our paces in American History, and Bill always led the class.  He died much, much too young.Mary
